Title: Searching for parts
Post by: Skinking on April 18, 2025, 02:23:38 PM
Hello, I have been shooting air rifles since I was a kid, have had many types, some good some bad
I joined this group to improve the accuracy and power of my Daisy Winchester 1000.
I am sure that there will be someone here who can give me some pointers or have experience with these airguns
It is the Turkish model. It was very accurate and powerful  when I bought it, I found the pellet it liked best after a lot of trial and error.
I have been doing some tinkering to get my accuracy back and have achieved some results
But now power is the issue, it used to blow through 3/4 inch ply wood at 20 yards but now won`t make it through 3/8
The barrel seal looks damaged and I cannot find a matching one, don`t want to remove the old one and be without my crow killer completely
I thought maybe a new spring and seal would help also
Any thoughts would help
thanks

Welcome!  There's a lot of info on Turkish guns here;  https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?board=125.0

Or there is a separate Daisy 'gate':  https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?board=298.0

And there is always the search function.

You might try Daisy, they used to be pretty good at parts.  Please come back and tell us how it turns out.

Welcome, I'll be looking forward to your future posts.

I have one of them shooters...... actually 2 of em.  Both are "harsh" but are real power houses and have both taken their fare share of small game.  I'm sure you'll be able to find the parts you need to fix her up.
