Title: Help with a B3-4 air rifle

I am trying to get advise/help with rebuilding an old Chinese B3 air rifle.  I bought this at a traveling tool sale back around 1995.  I think I have the B3-4 version - the rear sight is mounted on a 3/8" dovetail located rearward from the breech.

Welcome, nice to have you with us.  Ah, the beloved old B- 3  Like many of the members here I have several of them in my collection and they all turned into fine shooters that are fun to shoot and that have taken their share of small game for me over the years. 

Do a search, especially on the "Old GTA".  Years ago there were a a ton of posts on rebuilding and shooting the B-3 variants.  You'll be amazed at the info you'll find. 

Anyway, welcome and I'll be looking forward to your future posts.
