Just in, mainly bought this rifle cause of the wood, though repeaters have always interested me. The bonus is that it is about as new and holds air. Serial number puts it in 1977.

That's gorgeous! I've never seen more striking walnut on a Benjy.
I had one of the .22 cal version, the 3120, for a while back in the day. Very interesting gun, a .22 cal solid ball packs a lot of whack!

Jackpot on that piece of wood.

Sure is a purty one... love the 'tootsie rolls".
-
dang that a beauty … and a keeper for sure

Wow! That is an amazing stock.

A smoothbore Benji doesn't interest me but that stock would've made me do a double-take. That's a beauty! I hope to add a tootsie roll pumper to my small collection some day.

Me too.
I don't know how this piece of wood wound up on this gun, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was originally destined for a deluxe grade shotgun stock before accidentally ending up in the pile of wood that went to Benjamin.

Beautiful !

Oh my Stars... and here I thought I has an exceptionally good one on my 342.
Pales in comparison to that beauty.
