Last week I noticed that my trusty 140 3rd var was not holding air very long. I rebuilt and refinished it about 10 years ago and the Quad-ring needed replacement. Fortunately I had about 10 left from that rebuild, so all was well again after the replacement. As an older guy like many around here, I figure I have a lifetime supply or two. ;-)
I can certainly share a few if anyone needs one. PM me.

For a lot of these, it is helpful to get measurements on them for future reference. These are typically standard parts that are available from various suppliers, either specific sealing companies (like the O-ring store, etc) or mcmaster carr

It should be a no.8 quad ring I believe.

It is a 008 from the O-Ring Store! I got a pack of 20. I just sent 5 to Blowpipe Sam for his herd of 140’s and such.
He asked to see my 140 which my older brother bought new in about 1958. After many years in the back of my younger brother’s gun safe, I restored and refinished it. I shoot it quite often.

That’s very nice. Crosman had someone good picking the stock blanks in those days. It’s only Elm but there is some great grain in those stocks. I’ve always preferred the Crosman pumper stocks because they were cut from one piece of Elm.
