Title: So it's old... (part 5)
Post by: Methuselah on March 22, 2025, 05:18:47 PM
Target posted below.

All but the four leftmost, 11 or 12 yards, 3 pumps if I recall correctly. Top, 5 rounds as-is. Lowered the rear sight ladder (only) on next two.

Last two @ close range adjusted windage and ladder. Ladder now all the way down.

Four at left were 25'ish yards, 6 pumps. Some shot delay (it leaks faster if pumped more).

Analysis

I'd done chrono after adding the washer under the rear screw. So it may have leaded over a bit, and adjusting dislodged it. Front screw may have issues too and I disturbed that...

Conclusion

It can probably group. I won't know more until the valve holds pressure.

To be continued

Long pause was parts and tooling order. Last (2nd) time assembled it was very difficult driving in both pins.

It's tentatively reworked and pumped up. Tonight I'll see if it held pressure. Details to follow.
