I am in trouble and need to tell them where I am. But I don't know EXACTLY where I am! :(
I hope you are never in that kind of trouble. It could happen though! My son was worried that I may experience an accident in the rough country where I hunt. Or I might have a health issue that would prevent me from getting myself out of the woods and to the help I needed. So he invited me to join Life360. My Judy and I are now part of his group. (It is not a new thing. - He got is a couple years ago to keep tabs on his boys.)

Sounds like a good idea. My problem is I don’t have (and hopefully never will have) a cell phone. About five years back
I came to the realization that I couldn’t hunt alone anymore. So now the memsahib knows where I’m going. I always park the truck in a visible spot and Belle goes with me.

The fence I put around 1/2 acre of our property seems to be doing a good job of keeping me close to home. Plus my factory "HELP" button appears to still work.
I always have my safety net when I do real daredevil sketchy stuff like I did yesterday. I climbed up on the roof to clean years of fallen debris off. Betty Lou sat in a lawn chair on the ground and kept a close eye on me.. pretty she was waiting to score my fall. The broom handle did a great job of keeping that from happening. 3 points of contact is always a good thing.

It will save my loved ones the trouble of spreading my ashes in the woods ;)

Absolutely.
I will be 80 in August.
They will do a biopsy on something in my bladder next month.
I weigh 260 pounds at 6” 3”.
There are only two people that are concerned with my weight.
The person(s) who load me into the oven and the person who shovels the ashes out.
If there is bad news next month, the quacks at the base hospital will take a look, too.
If confirmed, there is a new Mustang or Camaro in my future and a very large firearm/air arm sale.
I have never been to New England and I have never been across the northern tier.
Stopping along I-90 I hope I am close to the Canadian border so I can flip a few of them the bird.
I will take the iPad and maybe stop and see some GTA folks along the way..
