Hey there all, and good morning!
I'll keep it short today as I need to get to the office and do some cleaning before jumping into meetings, and I hope to get down to the range later this afternoon.
Last Friday, I received the new BARRA 1100z Gen2 .25 cal, and their budget $100 4-12x40 AO Scope. I did a live unboxing on AirgunArmy.com over the weekend.. That process still needs work. I also received their gen2 400e. I'm excited to spend time with both products.
I took the 1100z out to the range yesterday to see how it did out of the box. Well, color me impressed. I don't know why I was surprised, as their gen1 guns were certainly decent shooters, but the regulated version takes it up a few notches. I'm heading to the range later today to shoot some video, which I hope to get out on AirgunWeb sooner than later. Within just a few shots I had it dialed in at 50 yards and a few more tweaks was hitting consistently at 100 yards. I have not put it on a chrony yet, but will do that later today if everything works out.
I'm very impressed with what we are getting from budget airguns these days. It's really impressive.
Anyway, have any of you all tried the new GEN2 1100z and if so, what was your experience like? Also, I have some discount links and a coupon code to share with you all. I'll get that added to the vendor gate later today or tomorrow.
