Hear ye... Hear ye!
Come one, come all... Casual Match #6 of 2024/2025 is open for business!!!
The Casual Match is a fun match. All are welcome! Boys, girls, men, women, and significant others - everybody get your pellet gun and have a fun time shooting. Shoot whatever you want at 10 meters (33 feet) +/- depending on what you have available. Use any position or rest that you prefer. Goal is to have a good time and enjoy shooting with your family/friends!
See below for the details.
Rules are the same as for the 50’ Casual Match, except distance is 10 meters (33 feet) instead of 50 feet, using the 50 foot target of choice. If you are limited to distance, shoot at whatever distance you have available. Classes are: PCP Rifle, Jumper (Piston Rifle, spring or gas), Pistol, or Pumper Class. One entry may be made in each class.
Match #6 will run 2 weeks... Start: 10 March with targets/scores turned in no later than midnight 23 March.
The 50 foot rules and targets may be found at:

Been over a year since I shot some 10M.
I put a TruGlo front site on. Dialed in on the bench 10 shots or so.
Put up a fresh target and let her rip.
Oh how I love my HW30, even though I wave it around like a drunken sailor.

I'm a bit confused on the scoring. Kurt's target has the ring round the dot as a ten ring while the usual targets only score a ten if you hit the dot (and the ring around the dot is worth nine).
-
Hmm, that’s the one I had been using years past.
Next time around I will use the other ones.
I refuse to return the prizes.
-
I remember now.
I am using that target because it’s one used in the 10m match gate.
But the bullseye is not clear to me. I count as an x if I eliminate the dot.
Is it an x for only touching the dot?
-
Clarification for scoring an "X":
In order to score an "X," the center 10 ring dot on the "45" target for 0.177 (4.5mm) caliber must be completely obliterated, or the larger gray ring around the smaller 10 ring dot must be completely obliterated on the "55" and "635" targets for 0.22 and 0.25 caliber (5.5mm and 6.35mm)
I hope this helps.

Might not get home in time to shoot another target with the baracuda hunters on Sunday as I hoped. The hunters are more accurate in the barrel bandit than the hunter extremes.

Probably jynxing it, but for the next match I think I will make my first 200 with the baracuda hunters in the barrel, bandit bag rested F/R at about 50 ft
