Title: FX Dreampup problem
Post by: GoneShootn on March 05, 2025, 10:25:31 PM
A few months back, I was shooting the FX Dreampup .22, and there was a noise, not exactly a pop, and then the velocity dropped substantially. I did the tissue test for a probe seal issue, but that didn't seem to be the problem, although that is not a given. I have a complete O-ring set but would like to try the most likely things first. I have worked on my Benjamin Marauder and various Hatsan AT-44 models, but those are simple rifles compared to the Dreamlines, so I haven't a clue as to how they work. I have a disassembly video to help, but, again, I would like to fix it quickly, if possible, as I have a shoot planned for Saturday. Would be poor planning, but it wasn't my idea. If I make it, great, but if not, it won't be the end of the world. I do miss shooting it, though. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Just FYI, the pressure leaked down to zero over this time. I don't know if that is common for the D series or if it may be another symptom of the problem. It didn't leak down quickly, but, as I said over several months, or nearly a year.

Could be an internal o ring on the regulator, best to go there anyhow .
