Hello fellow Airgunners!
I hope everyone is doing well. I'm late again with my daily post but for good reason. I just got off the phone with Barra Airguns and we are cooking something up. First of all, they are sending out their Gen 2 400e which I'm very excited to try out. They are also sending a .25 cal 1100z Gen2 (regulated) with one of their 4-12 AO optics. After reading the comments about scopes, it looks like $100 +/- options are the most popular and practical for folks here so I wanted to get something in that we could test.
I'm not sure when all this will arrive, but we should have it in soon and I look forward to doing some testing and reporting on what they send over. Once we get the discounts hammered out, I'll be sure to post something in the dealer area like I did for Pinty.
Now on to other news. The forum seems to be doing well and the numbers are strong. Thank you all for being a part of the GTA and making it what it is! Weather here in West Texas is "sub-optimal" and will be for a while. I'm not sure when I'll have time to shoot again.
Let me know what you all think about the Barra PCPs and their other guns. It's great to have an open line of coms with them so if there's something that you've wanted to learn about, let me know and I'll see what I can do about getting it in for review.
That's going to be it for today. I'll be back tomorrow with more news and information.
Again, Thank you all for being a part of the GTA!
Cheers
Rick

Big Barra fan here I need another gun rack as one is overfull with just Barras, 250z was my first Barra PCP purchase, it beats my FX DRS :) aside from that also have the CO2 1866 in .22, Sportsman 900 & 1200, 1866 lineup, and my first Barra the sniper, turned out to be a very accurate break barrel.

James, your early 250z posts came to mind as soon as I started reading Rick's post. And the DRS comparison.
I have the 1866. Thought about but never got around to the in store sale on the junior back when. I checked one and they didn't have it. Maybe next time. The 250z you posted about was the first time I found a tactical style airgun attractive at first sight, James.

BARRA Air Guns is a Sub Brand of SNOWPEAK ( SPA ) out of China .... FYI
This is why the BARRA 250's are still being sold where JTS had to drop them. Snowpeak holds the design patient overseas predating FX's recent one. These FX lawsuits seems to have been check mated in there cease & desist order while effecting other manufacturers, SPA seems to still be moving ahead.

Hey there.. Not sure all BARRA guns are snowpeak. The 250z certainly seems to be.. but the 1100z is based of the QB SAG design. I just shot the new Gen2 this weekend.. Today's post will be about that experience..
Cheers
