A group of Vultures at the end of my gravel drive way, I thought they must be eating a dead squirrel. I went down there to see and there was no trace of anything except a run over Grizzly snuff tin, probably dropped by some workers next door, right where the Vultures were eating!

I saw weird too last night. A bobcat walked right by a possum on trail cam without attacking it. Must've already been full on rabbit I guess.

The vultures were most likely pecking at tiny pieces of gravel, it helps with their digestive system. Many bird species do that, I used to mix crushed clam shells in my chicken feed because there was no gravel or sand in my pen.

It's called a gizzard.. the small stones help grind up the seeds they eat. But with Buzzard / vulture's diet I don't know it that's needed.

flesh eaters never saw one around a feeder!

Buzzards probably eat stones because they taste better than the other thing they normally eat! ;D
