Has anyone here tried a beeman regulated chief? I noticed one for sale on Amazon but I can’t find much info anywhere on the web or YouTube. Seems like it should be a pretty good gun.

As popular as the Chief is, you would think info would be readily available. Much like the Beeman under lever cocking pups that are regulated though, nothing but crickets. I searched for info on the pups for a couple of months, till last week, when I bought a different regulated pup with info and reviews in abundance, and in the same price range.

I have the .22 Beeman 1358 and it is not regulated. Nor is the .177 1357.

I don't know about the .177, but the .22 and the .25 are both available regulated now.

Really? Guess I haven't see those yet.

They are popping up on the Bay, surprisingly enough I would have thought they would have been on PA or their sister sites first, but nothing yet. I was so tempted by one of the unregulated versions while waiting for the new ones, but managed to hold out and wait.....until the P pup got me.

To be honest, if the P-Pup would have been out first I would have that instead of the 1358.

But keeping with the topic of the thread.. I have often looked at the Chief too.

Same here. I really like the changes to it. Side lever, option for regulated version. And the muzzle break. It's a really good looking rifle.
