Hear ye... Hear ye!
Come one, come all... Casual Match #5 of 2024/2025 is open for business!!!
The Casual Match is a fun match. All are welcome! Boys, girls, men, women, and significant others - everybody get your pellet gun and have a fun time shooting. One entry may be made in each class.
Match #5 will run 2 weeks... Start: 24 Feb. with targets/scores turned in no later than midnight 9 March.

Was doing some practice shooting today for this current match. I’m very happy with the results on this sheet. Hope I can do that well on my official entry. I’m having a blast with this LG400 and the great sights that it has.

I had a wonderful day shooting with my Dad. It took a target worth of shooting to dial it in. Tried a few new pellets, but went back to the RWS R10 Match 7 grain. They seem to be flying straight for me. I am loving the new lens in my eye. It is much clearer and brighter. Thanks to all for participating and thank you very much Charlie for hosting the matches.

Been shooting most of my life and really been enjoying shooting with all of you. I've had some decent targets but still working for that perfect one. Thanks to Eric for keeping track of all off this for us. I thoroughly enjoy the competition. Many thanks to Charlie for introducing us to this sport. : )

Eric - excellent shooting with the Daisy 853! Makes it nice when you can see doesn't it! I fought my vision all day. I got my target shot after several false starts.

Nice targets Charlie. It's amazing how these Daisy's shoot. What a testament to their engineering. Fun too. Thanks!

Thanks for hosting these casual matches. They give me good incentive to get out and shoot. I was really surprised by watching the wind effect my pellets at just ten meters. I hung a length of surveyors tape as a wind flag. By watching it move as I was shooting it was amazing to see the results on target even at such a short distance. With the low velocity of the Walther rifle I bet a 25 yard match outdoors would be quite the worthy challenge.
As fun as the bench rested target was, I am actually more proud of my standing freehand target; even thought the score was much lower. I have practiced a lot standing freehand and I can see my score slowly getting better. Thanks again for hosting and I’ll see you in the next match.
