Hear ye... Hear ye!
Come one, come all... Casual Match #2 of 2024/2025 is open for business!!!
The Casual Match is a fun match. Shoot whatever you want at 10M (more or less depending on what you have available), use any position or rest that you prefer. See below for the details.
Rules are the same as for the 50’ Casual Match, except distance is 10M instead of 50’, using the 50’ target of choice. If you are limited to distance, shoot at whatever distance you have available. Classes are PCP Rifle, Jumper (Piston Rifle, spring or gas), Pistol, or Pumper Class. One entry may be made in each class.
Match #2 will run 2 weeks... Start Jan 13 with targets/scores turned in no later than midnight January 26.

Call name or real name
PCP, Jumper, Pumper, or Pistol Class
Air rifle or Pistol used

Guess I'm first. Second top target was a bent skirt so I took a mulligan.
Had a wind off to my right, took me till the last couple rows to catch up to it.

Well I'll be number two.
This was shot with my Daisy 753 using a diopter Peepsight at 10 m.
Two target sheets, let me explain. I have discovered when I am on the ball shooting I can put a pellet in exactly the same hole which makes it hard to score and some folks may think that I might be "fudging". So, if I shoot two sheets, then there's one shot per each target makes it so much easier to score there's no confusion. Anyway that's my thought process. I hate the trigger but I love shooting the rifle.

We tried some new pellets today.... Sig Sauer Match pellets... 7.1 grains. I think they were tumbling. We couldn't get them to settle down so we went back to the Dead Centers...10.4. They are hot. Anyway had a wonderful time shooting with my Dad today. I did better this match than the last one, but not much better and Dad still beat me. Nice shooting Charlie especially with peeps. I'll get back into that after my eye surgery. 👁 Really appreciate everybody shooting with us... look forward to the next one.

Enjoyed the competition and shooting with my son today. Was a might cold out there but kept my trigger finger warmed up. Hope the rest of you had a good day shooting, I look forward to it.

Good shooting John! Good shooting Eric! You can't beat a 200, all you can do is increase your "X" count and you guys are doing very very well. I don't know if I can match you guys with the daisy but I'm gonna try and see how it goes - anyway good shootin!!

Here is my entry. This is my first entry into any forum target shooting challenge. I enjoyed the challenge and hope to take part again in the next one. Since I enjoy silhouette shooting and ten meter rifle I decided to go with a standing freehand position and shoot my FWB 601.
