Title: 1377 accuracy and longevity?
Post by: Chuck L on November 28, 2011, 04:11:47 PM
I am blown away with the accuracy of this gun...and for the price???? A couple of questions please:

1. In you opinion which pellets work best in your 1377? Mine REALLY likes Crosman wadcutters, so-so on Premiers and Pointed. I will certainly continue with the wadcutters for targets but would like to find a really accurate hunting pellet without trying everything that's out there.

2. How about longevity? Mine has about 2500 pellets through it and going strong. Has anybody put 10-20K or more through theirs without an overhaul?

How about the crosman detroyer pellet, kind of a wadcutter shape but decent hunting pellet, i never had any of mine long enough before modifying them to comment on longevity but theres a ton of them out there still shootin

They last a lifetime if you take care of them.

my phase 2 1377 lasted 20+ years with the same seals everything stock
accuracy was still there even though bb's were shot out of it most of the 20+ years
they are very durable guns keep the piston and seals well oiled it will last a life time and then some
