Late start, but not too late for some shooting fun.
I wish to thank Scott for all his effort for the Casual Match. Get well soon Scott I'll run it until you get back.
Start date is December 29 with targets/scores turned in no later than midnight January 12.
This is NOT a contest. This is a fun event to get you/me shooting. Everyone is welcome from kids to adult. The more the merrier. This is a great way to improve shooting skills.
So here we go……………..
*****
Hear ye... Hear ye!
Come one, come all... Casual Match #1 of 2024/2025 is open for business!!! Late start but we're up and running.
The Casual Match is a fun match. Shoot whatever you want at 10M (more or less depending on what you have available), use any position or rest that you prefer. See below for the details.
Rules are the same as for the 50’ Casual Match, except distance is 10M instead of 50’, using the 50’ target of choice. If you are limited to distance, shoot at whatever distance you have available. Classes are PCP Rifle, Jumper (Piston Rifle, spring or gas), Pistol, or Pumper Class. One entry may be made in each class.
Match #1 will run 2 weeks... Start December 29 with targets/scores turned in no later than midnight January 12.
The 50’ rules and targets may be found at:

Pic or scan of the target shot please!

I'm not sure if I can compete at the level I was at before with all the "C" stuff going on, but I might
be in for a couple of targets.

I will join in, I'm usually beta testing the guns I use so I may be lucky to get on paper ;)

Thought that too Ron but I just didn’t want to mess with it mid targets. I’ll try it tonight
-
Sure hope we get more participation in #2

I think #1 started on the 29th. We got two weeks and I share the sentiment of lets get posting. Got the k98 out tonight. Grouped well: precise but not yet accurate? It needs to be sighted in with a 50 ft nra target on the 10 ring. Then its on to the gta target! Here we go!

I do believe I jumped the gun by a day. I thought it ended 12/29 which means I have time for more targets.
Happy good shooting everyone

Good morning! Well, everybody shot well! John turned in the first 200 of the season. Good going John!
I screwed around with my time on shooting, putting everything off (I know better) until Sunday which was a mistake because I was sick Sunday didn't feel like shooting. So I missed the first event for the first time in like five years. Shame on me. Oh well I'll get my target in next time no problem.
Thank you to everybody that's participating, tell your friends if they like to shoot - it's not a contest it's just a bunch of folks getting together sharing a common interest – shooting air rifles. All are welcome.

Thanks, Ron!
I realize now that I've seen other folks' submissions that it's a ten meter contest. I shot mine at 50 ft.
