Title: Daisy Dial-a-Pellet ... Any Point
Post by: Methuselah on December 24, 2024, 10:11:33 AM
(No pun intended)

Searching turned up 3 threads unrelated to my question, but still,  I reckon that and their dates answer my question.

There must be a lot of "orphan" tins out there not worth shooting through because when they're gone, well, they're just gone.

Maybe there ought to be an orphan .177 (.22, .25, ...) gate, but in this day and age shipping precludes it  :-\

Pardon the ramblings of a nostalgic old man.

Merry Christmas GTA

Are you are referring to the plastic "tins" with wadcutter/pointed/hollowpoint(or round) Daisy 177, 300 pellets total, 100 of each shape?

I don't know the point... but I still have a dozen or more. I got them for ~$2.50 each so <1cent per pellet.

That's a "buy NOW trigger" I can't "resist..ance is futile" ;-)

Rare, but I do find some airguns LIKE pointed pellets. Everything else shoots "OK" in most of my airguns.

I used to get these or similar back in my 760/766 pumper hunting days (decades back). When I saw them for cheap (after 2017) I ordered some. NOT precision pellets but BETTER than the (garbage)pellets packed with my one-and-only Mendoza (nice rifle) springer. Good for plinking and breaking in springers :-)

Merry Christmas to you also :-)
...and happy holidays to everyone on GTA :-)
