Title: Urban SST
Post by: tennx on December 23, 2024, 11:12:28 AM
I’m usually on the tail end of most things..so this urban SST probably no exception….as much as I like the rotary mags,I really enjoy single shot….this 3d printed tray works flawless and just thought I would mention it…for those who might not be aware of it…good luck

Ya they have been around for a few years
Now. I printed up a bunch and gave them away for free about a year ago.
My Urban is more accurate with the ss tray for some unknown reason.  Groups tighten up about 1/8" using them.
Here are the ones I print.

Can you share a link to the STL file?

As I said always the last to know….if u folks dont mention stuff on here I will remain clueless unless I stumble on it….yours is the spitting image of the one I purchased….I did have to pop the magnet out and reverse it…as they wer opposing each other and SST wouldnt stay in…..its a nice design ,the maple notos SST is cool too….

U 3d folks are a great asset to the ag community..👍

Philip
The magnet issue was a problem when I printed 12 mags. I installed the magnets that worked on my gun. Out of 12 mags that I sent out about five had to be flipped around. I think it depends how the magnet in the gun was oriented when installed at the factory.
That's the only explanation that I can think of why they all worked in my gun but not in all Urbans. Needless to say it was embarrassing.
