From what I've read, the advised lubricant for PCP air gun seals is pure silicone oil.
Is Crosman Pellgun oil safe, beneficial, harmful, dangerous, or anything else for use in PCP air guns?
Thanks,

It’s not pure silicone for sure.

Go to any RC shop and buy a 30wt silicon oil.
They're about $7 for 2oz.
Same oil for hand pumps 👍

Oh, I already have pure silicone oil on hand. I'm just curious to see if crosman pellgun oil helps prevent and/or seal small leaks in o-rings in PCP air guns like it does in CO2 air guns.
Thanks!

The oil itself will not help stop leaks but it will help seat the o-rings without damaging them, which in turn makes it less likely you develop a leak.
There are 2 main reasons why you don't want to use normal lubricating on (mineral or synthetic hydrocarbon based lube)
- it tends to swell and subsequently crystallize many types of rubber
- it will react with the oxygen in the air under PCP kind of pressure
Should it be handy for anyone here are a few alternative ways to source silicon oil :
RC model shop ... they use silicon oil for the RC card shock absorbers (and they have plenty of choice on the viscosity).
The guys selling spares for scuba divers might have silicon lube for the air tank o-ring seals (they even have a less reactive alternative to be used on pure oxygen tanks).
The "SALICE Smove" anti slam for furniture has silicone oil in it (about 1cc each one).
Obviously Amazon and Ali or whatever other online store has silicone oil.

I forgot also in the RC car diffs.
