Post by: randomgunner on November 27, 2011, 09:27:37 PM
just got a new tin of .22 cphps, happened to be standing next shiny light, i opened up the tin and BAM like Emeril i was slightly blinded by the shinyness of the pellets. this is odd becuase ive never had such shiny cphps. anyone else get these?

They are really dirty pellets, so it could be a major amount of lead buildup on the pellets. Id wash them off!

graphite is a dry lube.  I used to use a mixture of graphite shavings in rubbing alcohol to lube the ball bearings in my rc cars.

I bought 6 tins of CPHP 500 ct. in the old packaging because of this reason, there is a noticeable difference visually compared to new ones in different/improved packaging and i like how they shoot. Meh, maybe no difference at all.
