Title: 2300S Breech Screw
Post by: Ronno6 on November 18, 2024, 04:18:28 PM
Trying to disassemble a Crosman 2300T
I remember reading somewhere that the little breech screw is a bugger to remove.
I thought I had read something about squeezing rhe breech to the air tube to unload that screw.
That didn't seem to work for me........

I also read about using a Torx driver rather than a hex key........

Can someone point me in the right direction on this, please??

Thanks....

You need a HIGH QUALITY, ground .050 Allen wrench.

T05 Torx bit but I’d just drill it if already buggered.

You can reduce the head of a 4-48 countersunk Phillips screw as replacement——it’s what I use and Magnum Air Power’s.

A drill and EZ out did the trick.
Slotted the head with my dremel.
All back together now and holding CO2.........
