What Notos ammo shoots the tightest groupings for you?

A variety of 16 gr. Pellets. Hades, JSB Jumbo, AA Diablo Field, H&N Baracuda 16, FX Atomic. Would be hard to pick a ‘best’ from that group at 25 yds., but AA held together best at 55 yds.

My NoDoze also likes a variety of pellets. It shoots my cast 217 20 RF Hunters really well and that makes me happy. I cull to 19.4  - 19.6 for the gun.

What doesn't a Notos shoot might be the shorter answer ??? I will add HN 21 gr slugs, as a go.

Mine doe not like JSB 13g and Polymags. It shot Hades great, minus one flyer. That CPHP grouping is about 3/4" spread.
I've discovered that my .22 pellet inventory greatly lacks variety. I'm looking to build up the inventory, which favors the Notos palate.

Might get out in the Castin' Shack today and build some inventory for this cool weather shooting season.

What are you getting for velocity with those 21g slugs? Do they fit into the stock magazines?

I may still try those slugs, but I don't think it's going to work well for me. I'm only getting around 660fps with CPHP. I tried increasing the hammer spring, but it bottomed out.

Have you shot it down to see what pressure the reg is set at ?  I also found Poly Mag not so good fit or accuracy. Nick likes the RedFires in his chaser hpa rifle, good penetration and accuracy with lower speeds like you have, squirrels fear him ;)

I've never messed with regulators before. May do some research into it should I feel motivated enough.
I'll give the RF a try to see what kind of accuracy I get out of it.

Dinh, I mainly shoot the JSB 18gr @ 700fps (stock out of the box power) but shoot the JSB 15.89 (about 730-ish) for longer shots since they shoot flatter.

My gun appears to be under powered. I'll have to definitely look into messing with the reg.

Was yours an early model? Mine has a air reservoir bleed screw that the newer models have. Maybe they decided to up the power later on....

Apolo 18 gn Domed Airboss pellets were my goto for the Notos. Sold my Notos a few months back but still use the 18 gn Apolo pellets in my power tuned XS60c and they shoot lights out for me.

Anybody notice the notos having a nose for certain head sizes?

I like things simple…. My 22 pellet selection consist of Norma,H&N and crosman dome and hollow points….all I need for my type of shooting…the notos shoots all of them well…U folks turned me on to Norma and was pleasantly surprised as to how well they shoot…good luck
