Title: Ordering from Hatsan
Post by: JPSAXNC on October 22, 2024, 04:12:24 PM
I wanted to place an order with Hatsan, but the order form wants me to create an account, I don't want an account. Is there any way around that? I've tried to get them on the phone with no luck.

Rather than place an order make a service request.  It's under another tab.  List the parts (and numbers) you need and their CS department will email you a quote for the parts that they have in stock in a few days. When you get the quote acknowledge it and click on purchase order.  From there it's just like any other order.

Hatsan can gather all the information for an "account" from an order form EXCEPT a password. I KNOW... creating another account and trying to remember ANOTHER PASSWORD is a pain. I have walked away from some items I wanted to buy just to NOT be forced to create another account. However, you, me, & everyone else has to decide for themselves.

For my airgun hobby I KNEW I was going to order from Hatsan more than one time so I created a user account. The only extra effort for me was another password. Since I never reuse passwords my list is getting pretty BIG, but I've learned to deal with it.

I think HatsanUSA has minimal staff as the US distribution facility for the Turkish manufacturer. They typically DON'T (never say never) answer phones or emails not attached to a parts/service form, but they have responded quickly to my website orders and within 5-10 days to the parts/service forms I have submitted.

If there is no faster way to buy from them without creating an account password then maybe try Field Supply as they carry a fair selection of Hatsan items.

I have a user account there as well but FS has a guest-checkout option.

I filled out a service order and got a call back, so I was able to place my order. I ordered a Velox refurb, I'm looking forward to seeing what makes it tic.
