I've been wanting to have my .172 and 6mm molds hollowpointed by Erik for a long time now. Life stuff/cost has precluded me from doing so until now... I FINALLY was able to send these molds off! Here's some pics:

I keep forgetting how small the .172 is! I can't wait to cast some slugs up and get to some shooting! Erik really does some fantastic work!

For those of you that don't know, this is Erik at hollowpointmold.com Found out about this service recently when I started acquiring used, HP molds.

Nice to see. I've been wondering about having Eric do a mold, but am curious if it might change the way it shoots, I.E. if it shoots and groups well before the mods, will it still shoot as well after? I was thinking larger slugs like .457 or .510, but the question should be valid for any diameter, I'd guess. It's been a while since your post, so have you shot the new slugs and how did they work for you? Eric does nice work!

Haven't had the chance to cast any slugs yet. I'll post here when I do!
