Fit into a 499?
I would be nice to have the option of not muzzle loading once in a while.

no.

no.
Thanks

I'm weird cuz I like the muzzle loader feature of the 499. but I have an adult Red Ryder and a Powerline 35 so I can shoot bbs without the muzzle loader part. And the 35 being a multi pump you can shoot a little faster. However, I have only shot the 35 on two pumps as it is so accurate that with just two.

No but it will into a model 95 ( requiring a couple orings at the front for stability) and there's a chance that you could put part of a model 95 into the 499 allowing it to fit.
It will not be as accurate of a gun, but could be a fun plinker if you did this.

I just ordered a 499 last night. I wish it did have the model 25 type magazine.

If they could do this while maintaining accuracy it would be awesome.

The precision of the 499 barrel is part of what makes it as accurate as it is. The 25 shot tubes are decent, and often an improvement over other guns, but not as good as the 499.
To have a bit more fun with the 499, replace the spring with one for a Red Rider or Model 95, etc. That will boost FPS a ton due to the efficiency of the 499, supposedly up to around 400fps from what I read? I did that with mine, but never chrony'd it. But you can tell it's way hotter than the average Red Ryder. The last thing I have to add is that I bought a magnetic glove, used by carpenters, etc., that I wear on my left hand when shooting my 499. Lots and lots of bb's stick to it, making it super quick and easy to load down the muzzle for each shot.

+1
The magnetic glove is brilliant. I would never have thought of that.

I thought about using these magnetic wrist bands that somebody got me a few years ago for Christmas, but thought that the magnetism might effect the accuracy in some way so I made this thing instead.

I took the top of an H&N pellet tin which are very thin and pressed a dish into it, then hot glued it to the top of a 500ct Crosman pellet tin.
It works great, but am now thinking about making a BB dish out of a piece of walnut if I can come up with a good way to do it.
It wouldn't work any better at all, just be a bit classier.
leather could also do.
