Title: Black stock Crosman v-350
Post by: WD Feese on August 06, 2024, 11:15:51 AM
Is a black stock a rarity or has someone painted it?  Looks to be original but I have not incountered a v-350 with a black stock before.

Most likely it's been painted. I bought a Chinese Peak TS 45 side lever someone had painted black. After sanding a Beeman RS2 dual cal I decided to spray paint it black. I have a few Mendozas that came with wood stocks painted black or gray. There was a thread awhile back about a German gun came from the factory with a black painted wood stock.

I getting ready to paint a couple of Daisy model 93 co2 bb pistols (clones of S&W 59 auto) flat black. The 93 is already black but beat up, the 93A with an accessory rail is black and silver but a little scathed up. Going to paint the grips flat white. Got one like that already. I have a Crosman Vigilante revolver with a 8" 357 barrel and the grips painted flat white. I'm going to install in it a gold trigger from a 357 GT.

I refinished a B3 underlever stock and the pistol grip and forearm of a B3-1 AK w/ folding metal stock and side lever with blue varnish. I know too much info. Fun stuff though.

This gun does not look to bad for one that has had a lot of use and for the moment I will leave it alone.  Just thought I had missed something.
