Title: Williams 5D-AG Peep Sight for Daisy 22SG?

I don't know why it seems confusing to me, but can anyone verify if a Williams 5D-AG peep sight will fit on a Daisy 22SG? 

I just put a peep sight on the new to me C9 recently, and realized what I've been missing.

I think I tried one on a 362 and ran out of adjustment…..for dovetail guns I like these….THE GURUS will be along…good luck
Seems a lot depends on front sight…

With the 5D-AG you might find that your front sight needs to be taller ( no guarantee) , but the WGRS54 should be fine.
I have a wgrs54 on my daisy 1910 ( single pump version of the 35 ) which has the same front sight as the 880 and 22sg, and it's fine.
On my 880 I have the daisy 5899 reciever sight from the 853 & 499 so I made a taller front sight for it.
I believe I have another stock 880 around somewhere that I could try one of my 5DAG sights on if you want.

I did a quick test with the stock 880 I have laying around,  with the 5DAG mounted and set all the way down I was hitting quite low on 4 pumps at 10 yds.
That means it's well within the range of elevation adjustment and that the stock Faisy front sight ( which the 22sg has ) is an appropriate height, and I would expect a Williams 5dAG peep sight to be perfectly compatible with your daisy 22sg.
If the faster shooting lighter .177 pellets didn't shoot high with the same front sight height it shouldn't be a people in .22.
The sight can be positioned on the gun without interfering with the bolt ( this can be an issue on Crosman guns) , and it can be lowered all the way down without interfering with the bolt as well.

I believe the 5dAG should work just fine with your 22sg and be an awesome combination.

Thanks Tennx.  I was pretty sure someone here would know the answer.  I don't post much, but I really enjoy reading and being a small part of GTA.
