So, after owning this "New to Me" Avenger, it has started leaking air at the Regulator Adjusting Screw? Is it "Terminal"? lol I hope not. I have never worked on an Air gun and the closest repair shop is halfway across Iowa from Me. When I close the Adjustment screw there is no leak. Any Suggestions? I was hoping for more than 2 days of use before I needed to try to learn how to fix it.
Thanks!

I have no knowledge of the Avenger, likely just an oring. The question is what will you have to take apart to get to it.
Have you searched for a parts diagram? Or google Avenger reseal or tear down. Once you see what to do, find an oring.

Thanks for the reply, I have the O Ring Kit that came with the gun, the leak is coming from the Adjustment screw and it looks like I may have to just remove the two sides of the front stock? The Reg is adjustable from the outside of the Rifle. I am only hoping to get more replies on it, I have never worked on one, and the closest place is Halfway across Iowa.

Here is a link to the Pyramid Air site with schematics for the Air Venturi Avenger. You should be able to locate what is causing you issues and order parts according: https://www.pyramydair.com/model-schematic/m/air-venturi-avenger-regulated-pcp-air-rifle/5136
Good Luck!

That's what I have been doing. Thank you.

If and when you do get it repaired, read on adjusting the regulator. You can increase the power without degassing the gun but you will cause damage if you decrease without degassing.
-
Yes, I am aware of that. I watched the Videos long before I bought the Rifle. I just took the valve out and am looking for Damage? Oring maybe? Or maybe that little white seal at the end of the Valve?

Sorry, not much help from me. I've had mine for the better part of 3 years if not a little more and I've never been inside of it. I adjusted the reg and HS where I wanted it right out of the box and haven't touched anything else since. It remains one of the most accurate and least pellet picky guns I own all the way out to my 45yd range limit.
Best part is that it loves my cast pellets. I get 6 full mags at 40fpe from a fill.

Thanks for the Help all! I got the Reg out easily this AM, Looked through the O ring kit that came with the Rifle. None matched! lol So I called air venturi and The guy was nice, He gave Me the Part # and I called Pyramid. They are shipping 2 sets of "2" O rings" $12.95 ea! LOL Plus $9.95 shipping! Lawdy! Anyway should be up and running soon! Thanks again!

Installing O-rings of any kind can be a bit frustrating for me at times. Best suggestion I have for installing new ones is to use a good silicone lubricant on the O-ring before starting and work slowly with finger tips not finger nails. Good luck to ya and hope to read about your shooting exploits soon.

Thanks for the Tip! I will get them sometime next week.
-
And you can put them in hot water prior to assembly to make them more stretchy / flexible.
-
Thanks for that tip!

Well, the O-rings I ordered showed up, and it still leaks. It leaks right at the Regulator. I called Air Venturi, and could only leave a message. The disappointment continues. LOL Well, somehow, I will get it fixed.

Grant, how has the leak repair turned out? Get it fixed? I just ordered mine from Pyramid air 2 days ago, with the extended warranty just in case. I went with the .25 cal.

I shipped it off for repairs, and it is still MIA! Maybe this week? I dunno, but I hope that it is soon! I love shooting My JTS, But having another made it fun! Enjoy your New Rifle!
