Lemme tell ya... I've shot several tree-rats with my ShinSung Ultra 9mm lever-action; using 9mm slug, 9mm JSBs, and 9mm Vortex pellets... The vermin have a hard time telling the difference between a 860 FPS 9mm pellet and a 500 fps .22 wadcutter. 

I need less holdover at 40 yards using the ShinSung than my 2400KT :D

Just another pellet size to buy or cast to do the same thing I do with what I already have.

Great timing Mr. James!  I have been looking at this EXACT rifle.  Refurb at PA for $599.  Never know what the future holds and I doesn’t hurt to be prepared.  Big bore has not been a prior interest of mine but it is becoming more of an interest these days.
