Title: can a 760 rifled barrel be added?

wondering if a after market 760 rifled barrel  be installed to a late model 760.i know it can be flat topped.but what about this upgrade?where would i find one?thanks

A Crosman 1760 or .177 Discovery barrel will work, if the breach end is machined to fit the 760's breach block. I had one made up at Mountain Air Custom airguns a few years ago.

Seems like a rifled barrel is either the first or second thing a 760 owner asks about. You'd think by now Crosman would be making them that way from the factory.

You may want to order a new breach block (Crosman calls it a barrel support) for the breach end of the barrel. It's a bugger to remove from the original barrel and easily broken.

I really think the 760 has more potential for low budget fun that people give it credit for. Half the price of a 1377 and it's already in a rifle format complete with scope rails.
