Title: Any NW Indiana Air gunners?

 Hello all, I'm in Crown Point IN. I was wondering if there are any air gunners near. I use to live & shoot in Gary & since I've moved I haven't been able to shoot anywhere here except Range U.S.As indoor range. I can't find anyone who shoots air rifles or has land in need of pest control. The apolice were called on me when I was in my back yard shooting a springier at a pellet trap. They said I can't shoot anything in my backyard that fires a projectile. He told me I could be fined for a blow gun literally, & paint ball gun also. I'm also looking for a shop that sells air gun accessories, air guns & ammo. When I search on line I see nothing within 40 miles of me. Bass pro shop & other sporting goods chains offer nothing for my needs.
 Anyway, I hope that there are people near me to socialize & shoot with. No one I know is into the hobby.

I’m in Tippecanoe, and I’m lucky that at the moment I have three different spots I could go to shoot (two are more suitable than the third, but I can use the third in some cases). We also just moved to a new neighborhood, but due to the move I’ve not had a chance to try shooting in the backyard yet and need to check local ordinances first, but I’m betting it’ll be fine.

Do you use an LDC/moderator at all? My TX200HC is super quiet with a moderator, which is also part of why I think I’ll be fine, but we’ll see.
