I notice that the price on their barrels for the 2400kt and 2300kt are not the same. Is there a difference between the two airguns beside the breech and size of the co2 tube? I know I paid less than $130 many years ago for the 2400kt and at that time that was a better deal than having to buy a 2240 and mod it to 2400kt specs (which i believe is only 3 parts: barrel, breech, and stock), but now the price has jumped to starting at $225 and the 2300kt at $175. Wow. Thats pcp price these days. I just dont see crosman selling a lot of these airguns at the price they have it set at when the options out in the market are so abundant. Let me know what you guys think about these post pandemic pricing.

Only reason to get a custom shop gun, is to have access to LW barrels being in the custom shop club. Glad I joined when admission was less.

Definitely a sticker shock! I couldn't believe how high a 13xx CCS was now. Like James... I am glad I got in before the pandemic. 8)

If they added the trigger group from the prod or 1720t and an unf adapter i could see paying what they are asking but at this price you are better off getting a diana co2 rifle or qb78.

One of the benefits to me was the selection of nice WOOD grips... but even that is lacking anymore.
Glad I got the Cocobolo wood when I could.

Funny how that works, isn't it? i bought 3 CCS guns and modified two of them, lol. ;D

I can't justify the new pricing. I have bought 7 Custom Shop Guns, some as gifts, in the past but now the Custom Shop is over priced IMO!

Tempted to get one again, but I think I'm going for the Crosman Challenger this time.
For my needs, it will be perfect, but I'm refraining just a wee bit 'cuz I had to pay state and fed taxes last month :P

I wonder if that lifetime warranty is still covered after all the mods ive done. ???
