Title: I have a problem ...
Post by: desertplinker on March 08, 2024, 02:16:20 PM
How many of you have air guns brand new still in boxes? or new airguns that have not been shot. Mostly bb guns rifles and pistols. Problem is, and this subject has been discussed before, just interested in new ideas.

The more economic priced air guns, many from dealers with free shipping, hard to sell as the shipping cost for the seller and buyer kills the deal.

I don't have neighborhood kids to give them away, or Nieces and Nephews so what's an airgunner to do?

Would like to clear some out and free up the space.

Me too!  Shipping cost is the big hangup for me.

I have a few waiting for the next kids to come along. I have 3 kids on the list but I need to wait another year or so for them get a bit older. I may give them to their dad to hold onto. I like to be involved in showing them how to safely use the guns.

I donate them to the local boy scout troop.

Sounds like you're retired. Makes it harder but maybe a thrift store? Perhaps donate to the local police department as some of the officers might be able to train their kids how to properly handle firearms?

I gave my last ones to my son, but he's lost interest, so I expect at some point I'll be asking the same question.

Put them on an online consignment auction.  Works in MN. That way the buyer has to pay the shipping cost.  Guns still with original boxes sell better.

Thanks Brian

Rather see them go to someone here so I know they will be used and appreciated. Got a Camo Daisy 840 that shoots, and a New in the box Daisy 25 that I bought as I had never seen one, don't care for it and I have other bb guns. Would let both of those go for shipped price alone.  Also have other still in the box.
