I hope to post some targets of my own this month, but this weekend it was really windy.
-
To start it off here's a very satisfying result from a 102 yard shot on a clay pigeon.

Nice 102 yard shot Liam!

Thanks Hunter!
Decided it was time to stop making excuses of why I don't want to shoot a group on paper at 100 yards. Alas, I don't know if it was me, the conditions, or the gun (probably a mix of me and the conditions), but I was only able to be accurate not precise. Couldn't keep it in the 3 moa ring. Good groups though, the first is 1 1/8 in and the second is 1 7/16 in. Both shot from my Mrod F&T in 2-3 mph wind.

Nice shootin’ Liam.
I don’t know about you, but the first time I shot a clay pigeon at a long distance with a scoped rifle and shot a hole right through the center I was very disappointed. I expected it to disappear in a puff of dust. I actually had a row of them set up in the dirt. I knew I hadn’t missed, but I wasn’t real sure what had happened. That little hole made me go “oh.” I shot the next one in the rim and never shot another one that wasn’t flying through the air.

On that one I saw the hole appear when I shot it. I thought it was satisfying to see a tiny dot show up through the scope. I'd agree that clay pigeons with small calibers is usually pretty underwhelming though. If I paid for them I'd only be shooting them with a shotgun but I'm usually able to go out to the spot everyone in the area goes shotgun shooting and collect 10-15 unbroken ones off the ground.

That’s pretty cool. Just enough energy to punch through, but not enough to send a shock wave out.
Nice shooting!

After seeing equal sized groups out of the h&n barracuda 15s at 50 yards as I saw from the jsb 15.89s, I was hopeful of the results I might get at 100 yards with them. Put quite a few through the barrel at 100 and they're sorta all over the place. (First picture 20 shots h&n)
I had six shots of the jsbs left and wanted to compare best I could. 1 shot to purge the reg after sitting while I set a new target up and put five on paper. POI was a little off after zeroing for the h&ns, but it went straight back to the 1 1/8 groups I was getting used to. (Second photo)

Wow!
Nice Liam.
My 25 yard groups aren't that tight. 🙁

Thanks Hunter! Been a lot of tinkering and a few thousand pellets to get the M-rod to shoot as well as it does with decent consistency.

Got a new toy. Video gets reversed so I'm actually holding right of the target. Pardon me breathing into the mic. Not bad for Crosman ultra mags. 2.5-3 in grouping at 100 yards. The piece of steel I'm shooting is a 4 in square.

Nice shootin’ didn’t think of videos but they certainly are welcome. I look like a one armed paper hanger when I try to video or take pictures through the scope because I don’t do it much and don’t have the right equipment so I admire and hats off to those that do.

I found a cheap but decent scope cam mount for a phone on Amazon. Similar idea to the sideshot scope cam but only $40 bucks. Bit of a pain in the butt to get setup, but once it is works pretty well. Allows me to shoot as I would normally, only with a little more weight up top. Called the Starboosa Rifle Scope Mount.

Correction. $60

Since the thread is still open and there nothing up for April yet here's another video. Calmest day in the last week or 2 and it just so happened to be on my last day in the eastern sierras before I move to Utah. Going to be hard to find 100 yards to shot at there. Took me a sec to get the wind figured out but I got there. Picture quality is bad because the mirror in the scope cam mount was dirty. Full disclosure, on the 3 and 4th can there was two near misses that I cut out in the spirit of keeping the video shorter

Pretty sure my wind zero is off to the left a little because the wind is pretty steadily coming from the left and I was hitting dead center in the prior video
