Title: Avenger barrel swap advice

What is involved in converting my .25 avenger to .177?  I already have a .177 Avenger for parts, so I am thinking in addition to the barrel swap, I likely need to change the probe. Never done this and looking for basic guidance, Thanks in advance.

I don't have a avenger but I do have it's older bother the liberty. All I would change is the barrel,probe and magazine. I know getting to the probe on the liberty is a PITA .

Yeah, that's my fear: that getting to the probe is gonna be a real pain. Maybe not worth it.

The biggest PITA is getting past the screw on the side cocking lever. Once you get that loose it's not bad but that's on the liberty. I don't know how the avenger comes apart. It maybe easier but don't know.

 Since the .177 is a parts gun practice disassembly on that first.
