Because springers aren’t a thing as much anymore. I own one TX and the rest PCPs that’s my theory anyway

Try contacting Pyramyd to ask them. Any input from here would be pure conjecture.

I highly recommend checking out Krale for your next HW if you're in the market. I've had nothing but positive experiences with them and guns have generally arrived in 2-3 days all the way from the Netherlands. They have great customer service too.

Just went to PA site. HW90, HW97K, HW50s, Hw98, Beeman R7, and R9 (made by Weihrauch. Most popular would be my quess.

I'm not sure which Pyramid Air you went to but this is their current Weihrauch page three springers and one PCP

Someone suggested I ask Pyramid Air about this and before I started this thread I did and the person said " I don't Know" It was one of those people in the pop up boxes at the bottom of the page that say "Have any questions?" or something to that effect. When I bought my 350 4 years ago they carried the HW 80 and the HW 95. I think they had the HW 95 as recently as last summer because I remember bouncing back from the Beeman page to the Weihrauch page when I bought my R9 from them. I guess my concern was that they were phasing them out for some reason. Airguns of Arizona has pages of them. Krale has a good selection of Weihrauch rifles but I've heard horror stories about shipping damage?
-
I have purchased 3 guns from Krale, all 3 were shipped from the Netherland to California in 2 days via their normal shipping. I've had no issue with damage, everything was double boxed.
Shipping damage is a possibility from anyone you buy. Just depends if Fedex or UPS feels like dropkicking your boxes that day or not.

I searched for Weihrauch and then I searched for Beeman R7 and R9. The guns mentioned above were all there.

Just checked again - still there!
-
I also got only 3 rifles when I filtered the searc to Weihrauch. Strange. Searching for "hw" brought the 97 into the mix that wasn't there before.

How so? I posted a link, are you seeing something I'm not? I'm not counting Beemans. https://www.pyramydair.com/air-guns/rifles/spring-piston-rifles?product_brand=Weihrauch&orderBy=price_asc

I guess I just wondered why Pyramid Air has such a limited selection of HW rifles when AoA and Krale have pages of them? I'm not slamming PA It's just their Diana selection is much more filled out and I was curious why they've stopped carying the HW95 and the HW80 which they listed as recently as last summer? I appologise CAUDIE I didn't mean to come off rude, I went to the link you posted and it's different than the link I posted ? I went to the PA website again to see if they changed anything and it still only shows the HW50, HW97 and the HW98? It's weird. I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

Hey Wes/Ike,
All these discrepancies likely arise from (distribution) contractual obligations.
Pyramyd Air most likely entered a contractual obligation with Beeman to list their Beeman R9 and R7 long ago. This obligation most likely prohibited them to list Weihrauch HW30 or 95's to compete head to head with the R9/R7 even though both guns are made by Weihrauch. Further, Pyramyd Air carried the R1 not too long ago and most likely their contract with Beeman still prohibits them from listing the HW80S (this is my guess - because it's a great gun).
Weihrauch probably doesn't care because they make both guns anyway.
AOA and Krale are not contractually linked with Beeman (in this regards) and hence show all guns with the Weihrauch name.
AOA sells Beeman Co2 guns but not Springers and Krale doesn't sell Beeman at all. Beeman was a USA brand name (now owned by Chinese) linked with Weihrauch since the 1980's.
FWIW - I would only buy a gun from Krale (I've bought 15+ guns from them) and only had 1 shipping related issue (problems caused by customs). Krale used to be lights out cheaper than AOA, but currency issues in Holland and AOA smart move to complete with them ...... have caused things to almost equalize (price wise).

The only way I'd see seven Weihrauch spring piston air rifles for sale on PA's website is if I drank a fifth of 90 proof bourbon and I'm not willing to do that just to agree with you😜
-
Hey Wes! Who makes the R7 and R9?
-
That HW90 would be a home run. I have two 90’s and they are awesome guns. 18 bar is the magic number for me. Good luck Crow

Not a fifth, but how about a couple of shots? First round is on me. :D ;)

In 2009 Beeman was sold to Industry Brand of Shanghai, China. They made a deal with Pyramyd Air that allowed them to keep Importing and selling the Beeman High end German R series and P series. So they can import and sell just about all the Beeman Spring guns and pistols. I really think Wiehrauch has trouble keeping up with demand. Krale in the Netherlands is always selling out of some models. AOA is out of most of theirs. Pyramyd Air and Airgun Depot have the same owners and have a decent selection, but they too run out at times. Airgun Depot also has the Beeman's. It seems like shipment from Wiehrauch take 2-3 months to get.
