I found these on ebay and I thought they were cool albeit a little gaudy LOL

I tried to copy the sellers link but it took up almost an entire page so I just posted the picture instead sorry guys. I noticed a flaw in the trigger guards, there is no hole for the trigger adjustment screw?

Hey GSD,
It would be nice if someone just made a blued, steel trigger guard ...... I mean -> the (gold) brass is nice, but just doesn't fit the gun's looks :P.
We need to be somewhat color coordinated :D.

Milled steel guards were offered by Beeman at one time. I ordered one at the local Beeman dealer but they never got it in.
Polished brass accessories are relatively easy to make but I don't particularly care for it so I don't make any. All those brass parts turn green anyway and must be kept polished.

I noticed awhile back Rowan has one in black anodized,

Rowan makes nice ones ..... but they cost roughly $82+ :o.
I'm not looking for extra bling so they're over the top ...... ornate for me.

FWIW, Gold & silver triggers for reference. Both with factory guards.

Slightly off topic - how much interest would there be in stainless steel adjustment screws for the Rekords? Like these:

I'd try one, but what difference does SS make besides not stripping out from a flat screwdriver?
Another words .... not really that important - right?
I know they can get buggered, but that's it - right?
-
Well, here is the one I replaced.
I like the stainless one better.

I thought the appeal was the silver color? Yes you can bugger the threads in the OEM one. But they will still work...
FWIW-I like brass/yellow trigger blades.

You know after looking at Deerstalkers pictures I agree with you that a brass trigger guard would be a little to much gold in one place, I think a blued steel version of the factory trigger guard would be great, I just posted the brass trigger guards because I wandered into them while looking at Bisley sling swivel mounts for my R9. What I think would be really cool is color case hardened sling swivels and a color case hardened trigger guard, but that finish requires a lot of care. Turnbull and a few others apply a laquer coating over the case hardened parts they do, but I find it unattractive. If I could get the case hardened parts I'd have to get a walnut stock and fit a rust blued checkered steel semi crescent butt plate to it. A man can dream can't he 😜👍 LOL!

I've made the screws. Pretty simple. Here is a Rowan duplicate and a slightly longer one. The Rowan was badly buggered. Was poorly designed in the first place IMO. I made a print to duplicate the Rowans, MY WAY. But doubt I'll do it again because I have long hands and don't need setback triggers.

I didn't post this thread as a source for broken trigger gaurds, I posted these as an after market option to gussy up our rifles👍
