ok so here goes, ive got a challenger hammer and striker on its way to me. since i have to pull the barrel/breech off the rifle to get the hammer i thought why not go ahead and upgrade all the oring in the whole rifle for peice of mind that i know it will be a very long time before i have to do a rebuild for a leaky oring
my question is what sizes and how many orings do i need and where can i get the upgraded orings ? i think the upgraded orings are red vs the standard black orings

ya i remembered the parts diagram from crosman after posting the question.. my bad brain fart....im going to see what my orings are like and their condition when i pull everything apart to replace the hammer and striker next week..
its just my mind set from working on cars, if you have to remove a bunch of stuff to get to what needs replacing then might as well go ahead and replace whatever seals and other parts that are designed to wear out while youre in there.. so you dont have to go back and do it again anytime soon

Whatever you do.... make SURE you deburr the inside edges of all holes in the air tube before you re-install anything with O-rings on it.... The stock holes are often very sharp and ruin the O-rings....

I've never taken apart a stock Crosman without screwing up the seals.... :o

well then i might just be pulling the hammer and replacing that with out doing a tear down.. going to want orings on hand so i dont have to wait for them
