A tiny washer prevents the magazine from sliding forward out of reach of the cockadoodle thinghy.

just called crosman looking for a replacement  cockadoodle thinghy... mine is missing that too. they must have a problem with their phone lines cuz i keep getting disconnected...LOL

I assume you added the washer, if not mines missing. Does that stop the missing shots?
