Since the BB Gun Gate opened for business here on the GTA I've revisiting some of my BB guns.
I've been rounding them up and I remembered one in particular. So I went on the hunt for it and found it in a wooded stash box but the magazine wasn't in the gun so the search continued. I found the mag in a drawer in my chair side table. I headed for the Red Shed.

Took me a few minutes to figure out how to get the C02 cart out to replace it and I even lost all the pressure in one cart trying to figure out how to put it in the gun. But I finally got it on the second try.
The mags are plastic and feel cheap but new ones are available at PA for $6.
Betty Lou and I talked about it and remembered picking the gun up a couple years ago in the clearance isle at Walmart for $30. They sell online, if you can find one, for $100.

The gun is metal and feels quite authentic in the hand. I dry fired it a couple times and the blowback is strong.
I loaded up the 16 rd mag with my pellet pen speed loader and took it outside to where I had some cans set up.
At about 15' I was punching holes in both sides of a soda can. The semi auto is responsive and fun but it don't take long to spend 16 rds.
I need to spend more time with it to check accuracy and determine shot count.
So far it's a fun gun to shoot. I don't know why I haven't shot it much.

Great minds think alike. I have a Daisy M11A1, think they quit making it. Also have the Winchester version from Daisy M11 and two M11k's, black and silver they still make. Got them all in the Winchester cases from Daisy as well as my KWC based 1911's. Love'em. You may know the Sig Spartan and the hard to find Sig Max Michel are the same basic gun, mags are basically the same. Fun guns.
I have found there is an advantage to stick magazine besides being cheaper. $6-15 vs. $25-35. Say I want to go out back and shoot say 60 bb's. By then I'm done or want to shoot something else. With the stick mags at the end I got 4 empty mags and one empty or near empty co2 cart. With a KWC full size metal mags I do the same at the end I got 4 empty mags and four half or more full co2 carts. But the full size magazines are cool.
