Has anyone hopped up a BB gun (760, 35, 2100) and attempted to shoot multiple BBs out of one? How did it turn out?
My latest thing is learning to shoot moving targets or shoot in more of a shotgun pointing style.

The Legacy 1000 can shoot 2 or 3 bb's at a time with good velocity without mods, if it's a good one. The magnet is strong enough to hold two bb's, when chambering three bb's keep the barrel level. Also a 2100 with either a legacy 1000 or 362 piston will be a strong shooter too, if not stronger than most legacy 1000's.
I've used multiple bb's to shoot moving "targets", but not sure if this is the same as you're intending. At ten to maybe fifteen yards you will about guarantee to land a hit with multiple bb's flying out at once. You'll have to pattern your shots to get a feel for the POI's and acceptable distance. Most likely will need near max pumps, depending on the activities... or type of "targets" you speak of.

I "warmed up" a current model 760 by clipping the valve spring some and enlarging the valve exhaust, also ensuring all ports were the same diameter. Was able to get about 635fps average at 12 pumps using bb's. There was excessive air leakage from the bolt/breech area. If one were to seal that up better, either by enlarging the probe with super glue or fitting an o-ring you just might get enough velocity gain to make shooting multiple bb's worth while.
With the Daisy 880 and/or 35 you can modify the abutment plug to gain extra valve volume, which with more pumps yields higher velocities. Porting the passage from the valve to the breech is possible, but looks tricky and easy to mess up. I have not attempted this, yet.

Thank you.
I have a bear of a time getting a Crosman clam shell design back together.

It's been awhile but I remember using 2 drill bits to align the clam halves.
I used a series of wood blocks to support the barrel and the stock and made them tall enough to put the gun together with the cocking lever on the bottom.
I have a couple projects in the works but I have a 2200 and a 2100 that both need attention and are on the to do list. I most likely won't post those efforts here in the BB Gun gate because I remove the BB stuff from these guns and only shoot pellets with them.

I have a Steel Storm that I bought the bulk fill connector for.
I do plan to mod it for full auto to shoot. Not just the 6 rounds it does now.

I hadn't even thought about recommending burst/full auto bb guns, they're a good choice too.
Just a heads up, those Umarex burst fire guns (steel force/storm) have the tendency to lock-up. I thought it was a small percentage that experienced this, had mine for years without issue. Then got it out for the youngsters to shoot (having an adjustable LOP) and with the selector switch on "fun mode" it seized. The bolt can be cleaned up, relubed and get back into action but is not a simple process.

Also have one of those Crosman DBMS SBR rifles. It's a fun gun and if you work the trigger right?
You can get 3 round bursts.

Boy those Steel Storms take a little patience to put back together once you take them apart..especially when getting into the fire control components.
I bought one a number of years ago with the bulk air feed. Running on C02
The thing was a lotta fun but it totally was like fix or repair constantly. The thing that really sucked is that you can't even get the most mundane of repair parts from Umarex or anywhere else. The thing that finally knocked mine outta commission was that I lost the magazine follower and the magazine spring got all bent outta shape. But that gun had a lot of kludged stuff to keep it together, all the screws got stripped and I ended up drilling it out and using rivet screws .
I had also put a Magpul style butt stock on it and had to modify the plastic housing. Anyways it sat for the last few years because of no way to feed the bbs from the magazine without follower and spring.... Fast forward,,,, a couple of weeks ago I scored with a $120 winning bid a 16 piece lot of defective Steel Storm BB guns.... Happy days, I have mod fodder for days. Unfortunately most of them are missing the follower and springs for the magazine , however the majority of the ones missing the springs and followers do in fact function perfectly otherwise! Only three or four magazines were included in the purchase. One mag looks pretty hammered but so far the first mag I have tested does indeed hold air. I don't remember how I managed to tear down and put my first one back together so many times. But on two of these new guns I took one apart to remove the sprag for full auto and was having a mean woman trying to get it back together. So I took the second one apart to use it as a guide to put the first one back together .. well two hours later I have one big ziplock baggie full of parts 😂 LoL!!!
I am sure I will get them back together. I just didn't have the patience and now haven't the time to get back to them....
I did manage to make three or four working guns from my box of defective units and I have several that seem functional but without magazine spring followers and plastic retainers.
I am planning on making my own bulk feed adapter/foster fitting gadgets on the mags that I scored. Originally I used Bulk CO2 but since I now have HPA capabilities with my own compressor and SCBA & SCUBA tank reservoir. I purchased a couple of paintball tanks with regulated pin valve output. These HPA output at 900 PSI .... The Steel Storm Functions beautifully at this pressure. So much more consistent than CO2 and capable of full auto dump without a glitch!
So I once saw a video where a guy had rigged some type of powered rotary hopper onto the side of his steel storm and was dumping hundreds of rounds full auto from steel storm. This type of mod is perfect for the steel storms that I have missing the magazine feed components. Maybe instead of a hopper maybe I could utilize a tube that is tethered with the air feed.... The bb tube feed could utilize perhaps the base from a automotive retractable powered antenna ..... The flexible follower that pushes the antenna would instead push the BBs up the tubular feed into the loading port of the mechanics???? The tubular feed would be the magazine. The tubular section would be limited in the amount of rounds but it would be a lot more than the thirty bbs that are housed in the plastic body. Maybe the hopper would be better but I have no idea how to build the mechanics for that !
Somehow or someway I am going to figure a way to bulkfeed bbs into this feedport! The other mod planned is much easier to deploy. I wish to install a longer barrel. I have found 1/4" S/S dom tubing that is smooth bore with .180" bore.
Does this make for a good BB barrel?
I realize most steel bbs are undersized from .177 and are as small as .172
There are lead BBs that are closer to .178
I have yet to find much more affordable barrel stock other than .180 tubing.
Anyone have suggestions for barrel stock?

I built a pcp BB shooter out of a HPA powered 2240 with a smoothbore barrel cannibalized (and cut and drilled) from an older 760. Got to shoot them daisies BBs at over 700 fps, but to be honest it was very erratic on velocity and accuracy. I find that BBs are more (a lot more) accurate and consistent at under 500 fps, 400ish better.
As far as shooting multiple BBs, I built a short barrel 760 and the magnet will hold up to 3 bbs. at 10 pumps and at 8 yards it will put 3 holes on any can i shoot at. so much so that i took the barrel band and drilled a divet on top where i JB welded a silver BB as a bead, and i use that and the seam above the receiver to aim as a shotgun should... ton of fun. The barrel is cut down to the barrel band end, and i am using the furniture of a powermaster 66 in black... very "home defense like", lol
