Title: Pics of Discovery ForeGrip
Post by: CitySniper on November 16, 2011, 12:33:17 PM
I did this last night..By using the handle from a slingshot that was getting no use. In order for it to mount how I wanted, A hole needed to be drilled and countersunk. But I like how it feels, not to mention it looks cool 8)

Makes for a good knee prop, for sitting position shots.

Very cool idea.....I was playing with the same kind of concept with a M4 forward grip/bi-pod on my Big Cat. Thought about in-letting a short weaver rail. (Shown just sitting under the rifle). It would actually move forward some.

Looks Good Vet, I already saved that picture in your sig awhile ago for reference when I do another camo job....I can still put the bi-pod back on whenever it is really needed.

citysniper that's ingenious idea.i'm looking around for my old slingshot just to see.-0351 vet, can i ask you is that M4 forward grip/bi-pod pretty stable?also when you shoulder the gun how does it feel? i might be considering one as a option. looks great..

R&G...Yes, it is really a stable platform for just plinking etc. I have a jacked up neck (awaiting surgery) and this kind of feels easier for me to shoot offhand as it pulls the rifle into my shoulder and I am not having to take my left arm completely under the rifle as a rest. Work out pretty good as both the rest (bi-pod) and as a forward grip.
I recommend it, as I am also use them on my AR15/M4's.

R&G....Thank you and your wife...It has (is) a long haul and has certainly taken a toll of me and my activities. (Although, this is what got me into AG's due to unable to play my PB's because recoil...recoil = pain). Thanks for the prayers.
