Title: 100 yard Submission for the club
Post by: lm22 on November 09, 2023, 02:22:10 PM
Here's my submission for the club at 100 yards. 2 and 1/8th group with a marauder field and target with a 4 power scope. If I didn't pull the one shot down a little bit it would have been a 1 in group but oh well.

Nice shootin’  Liam,
Just so there is no question as to the size of the printed target rule 6 states:
“ 6. Required printable targets are attached below. All targets will have a ruler laid across them with one end on one side of the 4 MOA ring. This way
we will eliminate any question to the size of the 4 MOA ring.”
I didn’t see a picture with the required ruler. Maybe I missed it, or maybe you still have the target or picture to include.

Congrats, and as I said - Nice shootin’

Thanks for putting up the picture with the ruler. Hate to be a stickler, but thems the rules, and that's the job they gave us. It also makes sense, it took me a while to figure out how to make my printer print out the targets I wanted to use to exact size. It turns out that even though I was using the correct scaling, the version of the target that I was using wasn't correctly scaled (who knew? - shrug) so I was printing out targets that were slightly different than four inches.

Thank you! No worries and it makes complete sense. Can't expect printers (and people)  to all do the same thing. Totally missed that I needed a  picture with a ruler when I read through the rules so thanks for keeping me and everyone else in check.

Good shooting! It's fun stretching out to longer ranges, isn't it?
