The arrow in the first screen shot below points to my thread in the Hunting Gate - Wild Game Prep. . . .
When I click on my thread, the second picture shows what I see.
Please tell me what I have done wrong.

UTF-8 is a text encoding standard
Likley a program or network error, or maybe that database entry is somewhat corrupt and the forum software cant handle the current format of the text
Doubt its you....
-
I suppose what I am questioning is why it was working and now it's NOT!
-
That was before the forum updated....thanks to improvements. LOL
-
Thanks, Dave. I kinda suspected . . . .
Can that old thread be erased. I will re-post it when that one is gone.
-
Can't get to it to delete it. :(
-
No problem - it isn't hurting anything like it is.
Thanks Dave.

This same thing is happening in the “Good Morning” thread: https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=181057.11500

They're working on it John.

They're working on it John.
Glad to know that I’m not the only one, Bill! “Good Morning”, Brother! ;D
-
Morning John..
Yeah, we first saw it yesterday morning and the programmer is working on figuring it out.
-
The thread I originally posted about is 'completely' GONE now.
I am not going to ask about any other threads - I may be gone if I do that.
-
LOL... I wouldn't worry about that too much Mike.
Glitches happen from time to time in any software.
It would be a shame to lose almost 600 pages of posts if the thread has to be deleted but, on the bright side, it's a back room thread on our plans for the day. Rarely do we ever look back in that thread to review information. It wouldn't be like losing valuable airgun related information and/or tutorials.

Bill, I agree.
On the other hand, I linked the recipe thread I mentioned to an email last week. A Louisiana GTA member I know very well, was wanting a new recipe for the first squirrel his son killed. They have all been hunting for a long time. But it was always deer before. Now the youngster is getting his foot in the door now with Small Game.

I get that Mike but ponder this for a moment...
I consider the GTA a team of like minded players with the combined goal of sharing knowledge and experience in airgunning. The success of reaching that goal depends on the contribution and dedication of each of it's players. Not to themselves but to the team.
This is probably why I find it so disrespectful for folks to come in and push their personal opinions and agendas on others typically in the back room and with topics that have nothing to do with airgunning. It rips at the fabric of what the GTA is made of.
