As the title says, the Benji Trail NP XL in .25 cal is currently $209.46, down from the usual $339.99. If you're in the market for one, now would be the time. It's a hammer of a break barrel, I love mine and my daughter loves the one I got her for Christmas.

Where is it on sale at?

I feel like an idiot-on Amazon. Sorry about that.

I agree, one heck of a .25 cal break barrel. I absolutely love mine. A real hammer and super accurate. Good find :)

And the 2240 is $56.53 on Amazon, a good bit less than I usually see them going for.

The .177 (NP XL 1500) is now $226.87 on Amazon. I'm back to wondering if they're discontinuing the XL, since they've been blowing them out at over 33% off lately. I'm glad I got mine, but I wish the .177 was in my budget, too.

.177 price back up now

Still $226.87 as of 1:21 AM, 10/5. Amazon has it listed on two separate pages and I have no idea why. You want the one that ships and is sold by Amazon, not a third party. The .25 is still $209.92. I haven't seen the .22 XL1100 on sale yet.

I have the .25 and the .22 love both rifles. Would be a real hammer in .177 with heavy pellets but I've already got rifles for that, although it is tempting :)

I've got the .177 and shoot it often.
Like tommyboy has documented, I too have some accuracy issues with that gun and caliber, but that does not detract from the joy of shooting it.
I like how long the barrel is with my monkey arms, the exercise of cocking it, the ergonomics of the wood stock, and finally how darn quiet it is for a beast of a rifle.
Taping the barrel below as well as the shroud meeting points above helped a bit with accuracy as did paying closer attention to my shouldering. Still not one hole at 10 meters, which I don't mind as it continues to pose a fun challenge.

Bought one from Amazon back in January for $130.00 including tax.........

Well, tried something completely different this morning. Put spitzekugels in the mix of pellets I was shooting through the 177 xl. I have these pellets for my co2 pistols, especially the peacemaker which stays closer to poa with them.
Aside from a first shot flier, 9 went into a dime sized ragged hole at 10m. I then switched bulls and shot 3 cphps, which did not touch on paper. I then shot 3 spitzekugels, which all touched on paper.
I'm not sure if this combination will continue to produce these results. I do not think of spitzekugels as high velocity pellets, quite the opposite.
I do hope the combination continues to work. I have been in search of a pellet that makes a ragged hole at 10m with this 177 xl for some time. I can nearly always get quarter groups with most pellets, sometimes get dimes, and rarely get 1 ragged hole of 7 to 10 shots.
