Been having traffic for the last few nights so last night the doorcam was put into use and about 8pm a medium sized rat showed up but I was not set up to snipe so it got a pass. Then this morning @ 5am what seemed to be a larger rat made an appearance. I set up early and sure enough @ 8:15pm it showed up. Since I was prepped, all I had to do was open the window, cock the Prod, turn on the scopes illuminated reticle, turned on the red LED flashlight (also have the red flood light on in back), set up on the tripod and it was facing almost str8 on, so I put the illuminated dot right above it's right eye and let the pill go...thwap...it went str8 down, no twitch, nada, must have clipped it's central nervous system. A young adult male about 12-13". I cannot believe it's May and I already have culled rats in double digits, I usually only get 8-9 per year lately but since the big rains I guess water and food is plentiful.
