Title: Patience is not my virtue
Post by: OldmanJunky on November 09, 2011, 06:36:17 PM
ARGH...

I cannot wait for the mrod.  It's driving me nuts.  I feel like a little angry kid who thinks Christmas is too far away.
Pyramyd is still backordered until tomorrow.  GAH!

I think the air tank is going to get here first, and mock me.

better that than looking at a rifle you can't shoot yet. that's even worse. ;D i broke down and took it to my local paint ball store and let him fill the gun directly. got to at least shoot it a few times while waiting on filling equipment. ;D hope you like it and it's a shooter.

What kind of tank are planning to use to fill the rifle???   3000 PSI Scuba tanks are not worth the cost with a 25 cal that requires a 3000 PSI fill.

You need to get a 4500 PSI SCBA or a pump but thats torture

Oh -- yeah I already bought a 4500 45CF tank off ebay and all the hoses and fittings.  I have a local dive shop that will fill it too.

Gah.. pyramyd/crosman delaying another week.

It's killing me slowly...

If you want to feel better about the cash spent go look at Monsoons and Revolutions  ;D

Or these which make the FX look cheap

http://www.precisionairgunsandsupplies.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=154 (http://www.precisionairgunsandsupplies.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=154)

You are saving big money on a Marauder ;D

That's how I ended up with my Mrod, got tired of waiting on a custom order. Great rifle.

Precision Air is definitely a great place to deal with. Although I actually went  in person to get my Mrod. I would at least give them a call and see if they have it. Maybe you could cancel your current order.

Your still going to need a way to get the air from the shops tank to your gun. For the Mrod, that regulator/hose set-up must end ina 1/8 femal qd. Your dive shop will not likely have this set-up/adaptor.
