Rifle:  Air Arms S510
.  PCP Class
.  Shot @ 30 yards
.  Rested F/R
.  Scope:  Hawke @ 7 Power
.  Pellet: .177 Diablo Field Heavy 10.3gr
.  Shot at the second lowest power setting (UNK FPS)
.  Score: 186/200 4X

Well here we go, the first match. We fought sighting in at the last minute, heavy swirly wind, and trying to figure out which pellets we used last year. We will do better, but we are on the board.  Looking forward to the season.

Had a good day shooting.  We were a little late in getting all together, but we're in the running. Not the best we can do, but we'll get better.  Had fun,  that's all that matters. Looking forward to this season's competition.

Dang it!
I tried to shoot on the one non-raining day, but had a 10-15mph wind with 20mph gusts.
I shot at the far right target and the impact was just to the left of the far left target!

Hello All....I was wondering if there is an interest in shooting the summer season this year.   I've sent Scott a couple of inquires and haven't heard back yet.   I'm hoping the same group of shooters that shot the winter matches will be into it. If so,  let's figure out how to get this thing started! 🤔

I'm up for some 30 yard action, might even have that indoors or partially if weather decides to be an issue.

Eric

I asked a question if the formal season had been canceled.
Usually by now, we are on the second match.
Is Scott okay?

Got some targets printed, running low on toner, but good enough to get some lead down range if the rain lets off.

Good to hear Back_roads! Good to have you.   Scott sent me a text the other day.   He said he'd get it started this weekend.   So hopefully the season will be underway by next weekend.
We're ready to go with a new indoor range.  Looking forward to it.

Just for practice, I did I shoot.
The winds were so much, it pushed the pellet clear off the bullseye and into the space in between targets.

Glad to hear you're onboard.   I know last year Dad and I had plan our shoots early in the morning when the winds were calm.  By around 10am they would be enough that we would have to have one guy watching the wind tell tale and telling the other guy when to shoot.   Fun either way.   Looks like I'll have to send Scott another PM.

Good ya got someone to call the wind for you.  I think it also helps improve the shooters wind reading ability.
I have to use my peripheral sight to see the trees moving to make the call.
