Anyone know for sure? Just trying to familiarize myself with the model 34 that I recently bought. :)
I need to give it a good cleaning and light lube to try and get rid of the rubbing that I'm noticing when I cock the gun.

yes I think so? ;D :P

Thanks Mark!
From what I'm "hearing" and what I'm reading, it sounds like it's a bit of a pita to work around. ;D
-
they can be a little tricky to remove and put back in! :P
-
Has anyone that you are aware of made a video showing removal of the T01?
-
I haven't looked for one but I'm sure somebody out there knows where to find this info :P

Thanks Jim- I'll check that one out.

Yep Lizzie that is a TO-1 trigger for sure. I just had mine in my hot little hands a few minutes ago. They can be very nice when set up right.

You didn't happen to make a video did you? :D

I have a TO1 in a 46E. I have had it apart many times because it will not latch on to the piston rod. Can see nothing wrong when apart. With both the trigger and piston out of the rifle, and I push them together it will catch, but in the rifle it will not. I have set it aside until I can find out why this is so.
Thanks for any info on this......

Frank Not sure if this will help but I tuned a 48 T05 and had the same problem. The top hat ended up being a touch too tall. I put a little shorter one in and it was fixed. If you changed anything check overall length from stock parts. Good Luck! Dustin

Thanks s10gto. I took it apart again today and did install a shorter top hat. It worked for a few times and then acted up again.
I noticed movement in the safety while I was trying cocking it and it would not latch. I pulled the safety out and then it latched. So it has something to do with the safety lever. Then it would latch a few more times, when it would not catch I pulled the safety again and it worked. So somehow the safety is not being pushed back by the cocking action. I will just use it as is for awhile and maybe it will work in. I don't want to wear it out by taking it apart again and again..... Thanks...Frank

I would try it with no top hat for a test. The 48 I did was kinda same way. If I wiggled the trigger a touch it would latch. I'm thinking you are real close. Maybe a touch thinner top hat and you will have it. ;D
-
Dustin, Yes, I should try what you mentioned. I will take the top hat out and see what that does. That should prove something.... Frank.....

edited to remove image

Lizzie, that is not a TO1 trigger. Can't say what it is otherwise......

Interesting. The guy who posted the pic thought it was, as did the others involved in the discussion. I suppose this means I should remove it, lol.
-
Lizzie, The post you posted on Nov 8 is a TO1 trigger. The safety that sticks out the back is not a plastic piece like the last picture but more of a heavy metal wire.....

Well, since I haven't removed mine yet, I don't know what it looks like without the endcap cover. :)

looks just like the t01 on my 34 , everyone loves them, i''ve been going nuts trying to adjust it though

This should do it on the TO1 trigger:

Anyone that has a TO1 should print this out for future reference.......

Thanks- Frank- I see what you mean about the safety now. :)
