I filled my SCBA bottles again today and while topping off a warm tank that had cooled, I lost high pressure and I could not get more than 2k.
The meter is right at 136.3 hours, or about 500 top-offs. That seems a little high, I bet I had about 300 top-offs so I wonder if the gauge is a little fast?
I have a complete rebuild kit in-house so it looks like there will be no target shooting tonight, looks like BEER-30. ::)

Hot "dang" hope mine runs another 100 hrs!

Wow I wish I had that much trigger time lol. All my compressors combined have maybe 30 hours. Should be an easy repair or cheap enough to buy a new one .

Wow, it would be hard to get that much mileage out of a $300 gun before it needed repairs. I'd call that a pretty good value.
Wonder how much longer it would have lasted if just filling guns.

I pulled the head off and looked at everything, there was a slow water leak into the seal so I changed the oring and seal, the 2nd stage piston looked really good to me...? I put it back together and ran it again, still stops at 2k.
Turned the compressor off (I usually do this after bleeding off the pressure in the line) and I heard a leak!
The whole thing turned out to be an oring in the filter that had compressed enough to let a small cut start a leak and blew out at 2k every time I ran the compressor.
136.5 hours and still kickin!!! ;D

Outstanding! Good to hear it was just an oring on the filter. I check mine throughout the fill time when I run mine.

These little Yong Heng compressors are pretty stout. A few months ago mine was running and the return water line vibrated out of the bucket and the compressor ran dry for a few minutes. Temp pinged on the thermo at "max" or something like that and I was pretty sure it was done for. I replaced the seal on the high side piston and all was well. Speaking of, I need to top up some guns and my bottle!
